~ WELCOME TO ED GROSS' MINISTRIES ONLINE ~ Paul spoke of God as being the One, “whose I am and whom I serve” (Acts 27:23). Debby and I join Paul in affirming that we belong to Christ. We are his. We do not belong to ourselves. And that is why we serve him rather than ourselves. Our time, our dreams, our strength, our goals are devoted to doing his will from hearts of love. Ed Gross Ministries is simply our joyful service to our Master as we are discerning, with the help of others’ counsel, what he would have us do. Although the form of our ministry is varied and will change, the following timeless words of Jesus help us follow him with four goals constantly in mind:

· “Thy word is truth” (John 17:17b) – All we are and do should conform to the clear teaching of God’s Word as found in the Bible. Jesus is the Word personified. The Bible is the Word written. God’s will is for us is to joyfully obey his Word. So Ed Gross Ministries will always aim at being Bible-Centered.

· “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end shall come” (Matt 24:14) – Jesus proclaimed the Good News of salvation through faith in his righteous life and atoning death. He has become the salvation of all those who believe. No other One can save us from our sins. The gospel is the message by which we tell this story to others. The gospel message is the Bible’s message in a nutshell. We cannot follow the Word without being gospel-driven. So Ed Gross Ministries is devotedly Gospel-Centered.

· “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind… and love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commands hangs all the Law and the Prophets” (Matt 22:37-40). Love to God and others is always to be operating in our thinking, emotions and actions. This agape-love should take the form of helping all those in need around us. As both “fishers of men,” sowing gospel seeds in words to those perishing in their sins. And as following the Good Samaritan who, coming on a man in need and seeing him, pitied him, stopped, medically treated him, placed him on his donkey, took him to an inn, took care of him, paid for his care, and promised to return and pay the innkeeper for any balance he owed. Jesus commands us to “do the same.” So Ed Gross Ministries is intentionally committed to a Word and Deed focus that is Love-Centered.

· “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” (Matt 26:41). Communication by prayer to the Father, by the Spirit, in Christ’s name is our spiritual breath. And it is vital for fruitful ministry. We speak to him through prayer all the time. Without ceasing. Deb and I are constantly worshipping him in spirit and truth everywhere. We are amazed at his grace and in awe of his power. We pray because we love him. And we pray because we are in great need. The Spirit helps us mightily because we often do not know what to pray for. We enjoy an ongoing ministry of intercession daily as two who agree on earth concerning the advancement of Christ’s kingdom. And the destruction of Satan’s kingdom. We seek to gather God’s people in aggressive prayer as the foundation of our ministry. So Ed Gross Ministries seeks to always be Prayer-Centered.
